LRT FARE INCREASE

COMMENT: 

The fare increase will really affect Filipino commuters, the mere fact that mostly some commuters prefer to take the train to save money but in this case that the fare increases this is another headache for the commuters who have the short budget for fares I do also understand the good intention and motives of the authorities to increase the fare in train transportation as they cited that the purpose is for the improvement of their services and to fix some maintenance problem so by agreeing to increase the fare on the said station, it will be ensured that the facility, service and technical capabilities will be in order. I hope that this plan will have a good outcome in the future that would lead to the development of much better transportation here in the Philippines.

Singapore's Prime Minister has recovered from COVID-19

News  Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong tested negative for COVID-19 and has now recovered seven days after testing positive for COVID-19 for the first time.  On May 22, Mr. Lee tested positive for COVID-19 following state visits to South Africa and Kenya.  And on Sunday,  Mr. Lee posted on Facebook that he is now COVID-19 negative and will return to work on Monday.  "I am now COVID-19 negative and will be back to work on Monday. Thanks to everyone who sent your good wishes! he wrote.  In his first official visit to AfricaPrime Minister Lee met South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in Cape Town, and the two had their lunch together as official guests. The year-to-date global surface temperature (January-March) was the fourth highest on record and according to the National Centers for Environmental Information's (NCEI's) Global Annual Temperature Outlook, 2023 is almost certain (>99.0%) to be one of the ten warmest years on record, with a 96% chance of being one of the top five.
