War in Sudan

COMMENT:
Sudan's economy was really affected by this continuous war that happened in their country. The chaos led to economic shocks, damage to infrastructure, a decline in the working population, inflation, shortages, uncertainty, a rise in debt, disruption of normal economic activity, increasing food insecurity, and worsening environmental degradation. The innocent victims of the war are civilians who are forced to choose between disastrous alternatives whether they flee or stay and if they flee, they will absolutely lose their homes, livelihoods, and their communities but even if they stay, a sight of their property being destroyed around them will leave deep wounds in their heart. Additionally, women and children were the most affected. Hunger and disease are widespread and psychological problems are the natural consequence of this situation that might cause aggressive behavior, trauma, and anxiety in the displaced children. The consequences of the war between Sudanese armed forces and paramilitary rapid support forces can affect the development of Sudan and its neighboring countries. Armed conflict often leads to forced migration, refugee flows, and the destruction of society's infrastructure.
