Shooting attack in Casugad Bula, Camarines Sur

 An unidentified man robbed and shot two victims in their own house at Barangay Casugad Bula, Camarines Sur on May 19, 2023. 

Around 12:24 am a mother and daughter were victims while they were in the middle of a deep sleep an unidentified man entered from the back of their house, then robbed some of their items, and mercilessly fired a gun at them, killing the 37-year-old mother who was shot in her chest and injuring the child that had been shot in the arm. 

       The victims were rushed to the Bicol Medical Center and from there the mother was declared dead, losing her life in this savage murder while her daughter was recovering from her injuries after the incident. According to the Bula PNP's initial report, the disturbance sound of gunshots broke the silence in the barangay and when some police officers arrived, they discovered from the scene that the house was fired by numerous gunshots leaving a hole mark in the house and to the point that the gunshots reached also the neighboring house but luckily no one was hurt. The investigation into the crime that occurred is still ongoing, and while the possibility of stealing cannot be ruled out, the true purpose of the suspects in invading the mother and daughter's home led to this horrible murder.

DOJ will investigate torture allegations of Degamo suspect

  by Adrian T. Organo  If it is true that the suspects were tortured and threatened the safety of their families by the authorities, the court should pay attention to this issue. It must be investigated, for us to know the truth. Another thing that should be focused upon in the investigation is the person who is really the prime suspect of the crime. In regards to this chaos case, many side stories were heard and all of the stories have different angles, points, and prime suspects, but one thing is for sure to be very disturbing is the allegation of torturing the suspects well in my own opinion if the investigation is still on process everyone must presume to be innocent until it was proven that they are guilty of the crime so any punishment must not be done first.
