Boa-Boahan Festival 2023

                 It is such a beautiful thing that this festival tradition continues for over 13th century here at Nabua, Camarines Sur. Nabueños never forget and they always look back to the tradition and culture that were engraved in their soul and mind. This festival helps Nabueños find a place where they can have comfort, giving them a sense of belonging and through this festival celebration, the sense of Filipino identity continues to be awake in every Nabueños heart. The boa-boahan festival played an important role also in attracting tourists from other countries or cities to come over and visit Nabua which resulted in revenue increase in hotels, stores, and other establishments adding numbers of growth for Nabua's rising economy. And of course, this kind of celebration is always mixed with politics. Politicians would likely show up and make an appearance for this day showing support and celebrating along with Nabueños, but sometimes this kind of stuff is often done by politicians for them to gain recognition and popularity from the public so that in upcoming elections their chances of winning would be high thanks to the support of the public. Overall, festival culture and tradition are very dynamic. It gives many chances and opportunities to everyone and it helps us develop some activities that enhance our social and economic well-being that would lead us to development.

Masujer  Photo from Tandaay HS Xii Humss Nabueños Boa-Boahan festival at Nabua, Camarines Sur was celebrated with filled of joy and excitement held on last May 2, 2023.  Nabua Camarines Sur streets shined with colorful and beautiful parade costumes along with wonderful street performances of Nabueños in celebration of the Boa-Boahan Festival 2023. Many people came to witness and enjoy this magnificent festival although the celebration stopped for a few years due to the worldwide pandemic, the Boa-Boahan Festival 2023 came good as if there’s no stain of a few years' pause. DOJ will investigate torture allegations of Degamo suspect

  by Adrian T. Organo  If it is true that the suspects were tortured and threatened the safety of their families by the authorities, the court should pay attention to this issue. It must be investigated, for us to know the truth. Another thing that should be focused upon in the investigation is the person who is really the prime suspect of the crime. In regards to this chaos case, many side stories were heard and all of the stories have different angles, points, and prime suspects, but one thing is for sure to be very disturbing is the allegation of torturing the suspects well in my own opinion if the investigation is still on process everyone must presume to be innocent until it was proven that they are guilty of the crime so any punishment must not be done first.
