A man was stabbed by his eldest brother

        NAGA CITY: A 39-year-old teacher was stabbed in the shoulder by his older brother in Naga City last May 22, 2023.

The victim has been identified as Denis Olea y San Buenaventura, a teacher from San Mateo Street, Peafrancia, Naga City. The suspect is Nimuel Olea y San Buenaventura, 50-year-old the victim's older brother and a resident of San Mateo Street in Peñafrancia, Naga City.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred at 10:30 am on May 22nd at the home of the victim and suspect. The suspect reportedly arrived at his home intoxicated with a sharp "Itak" knife and stabbed his brother multiple times in the shoulder. Fortunately, the victim was able to leave the apartment to call for help while the suspect tried to chase him but then the suspect was caught. Police soon arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. The victim suffered lacerations to his arm and injuries all over his body and was immediately rushed to hospital. NCPO spokesman PSMS Tobias Bongon said the main reason the suspects went on the offense was a sibling rivalry. Any further details in the investigation are still not disclosed to the public.

Singapore's Prime Minister has recovered from COVID-19

News  Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong tested negative for COVID-19 and has now recovered seven days after testing positive for COVID-19 for the first time.  On May 22, Mr. Lee tested positive for COVID-19 following state visits to South Africa and Kenya.  And on Sunday,  Mr. Lee posted on Facebook that he is now COVID-19 negative and will return to work on Monday.  "I am now COVID-19 negative and will be back to work on Monday.
